This is Hertfordshire Probation Trust |
On 1 April 2010 Hertfordshire Probation Area became Hertfordshire Probation Trust, as part of a national change taking the Probation Service of England and Wales into a new era. As a Trust, not only will we be working increasingly closely with other agencies involved in protecting the public and reducing re-offending but we will be competing for the right to provide probation services against providers in the private, public and voluntary sectors. This new Best Value approach will see us striving even harder to provide best value for the tax-payer.
On this site you can find out more about how we work with offenders, Courts and victims, read up on our plans, policies and strategies, and find out more about working for Hertfordshire Probation Trust. Media representatives can find contact details and news releases in our Media Centre.
