Our Mission - working to reduce re-offending and protect the public, thus leading to fewer victims. We work in partnership with others to develop our services for the fair and effective assessment and management of offenders
Our Vision - working to make Hertfordshire safer by managing offenders to help them achieve changes in their lives so they do not re-offend, can achieve their full potential and can contribute positively to our communities
These will be achieved by:
» protecting the public by reducing the risk of harm posed by offenders managed in the community
» working to safeguard known and potential victims
» providing the Courts with sound assessment and proposing suitable sentences in a timely way
» reducing re-offending through the delivery of firm, fair and effective sentences
» delivering consistent, effective supervision, through increased compliance, eliminating discrimination and disadvantage
