At HPA we are re-prioritising our resources around risk to achieve our goal to deliver high quality services to service users, courts and the community. In return for your skills and dedication Hertfordshire Probation Area is committed to ensuring that you receive the necessary training to equip you to meet the challenges and opportunities offered by this flexible and progressive organization. We operate from 4 modern centres (Stevenage, Hertford, St. Albans and Watford) which are well equipped to deliver a wide range of accredited programmes.

Centres are open until 9.30 pm and all staff must be able to work late evenings on a rota basis.

The salaries quoted are for full-time posts, which equate to 37 hours per week. Applications for part-time posts would be welcome.

Hertfordshire Probation Area offers flexible working, contributory pension scheme, Benenden healthcare, generous annual leave allowance and Employee Assistance Programme.  Eligible employees will also be entitled to key worker housing payments/allowance.
